The message indicates that your workspace has been corrupted. To solve this:

See also k.Modeler displays red "X"s; "could not create the view"/"no editor descriptor" for a superficially similar-looking case with a different error message and solution..
And note that by pressing the "details" button in one of the windows with a red X, more information about the problem will be displayed, which can be very helpful for debugging.

Another option is to switch to a new workspace:
- In K.Modeller, go to File -> Switch workspace -> Other...
- Enter a new workspace name (e.g., "workspace_new")
- Press the "Launch" button. K.Modeller will reopen in a new workspace.
Be aware that you will need to selectively reimport the projects you were using - these will of course not be available in the new workspace until you've done so. Be careful in doing so as one of them was the cause of the corruption in the first place.

When opening k.Modeler, red "X's" appear in all windows, with the message "Plug-in org.integratedmodelling.klab.ide was unable to load class org.integratedmodelling.klab.ide.navigator.e3.KlabNavigator." This makes working in the Modeler temporarily impossible, due to a corrupted workspace.
